Sounds Of The Sun ALBUM - March 2012

In March 2012 the band will be releasing their debut album ‘Sounds Of The Sun’ accompanied by a full UK tour and some European dates. Classic Rock Magazine are featuring tracks from the upcoming album on the cover CD with an issue in the new year. This is the culmination of 4 years of evolution taking the band from classic rock roots to a more psychedelic modern rock sound.

Three previous EPs have been released, each one accompanied by an ever increasing industry interest in the band. The changing musical direction has saw the band end the 2011 festival season as 2nd stage headliners of York’s Galtres Festival, closing Saturday evening after Mostly Autumn and The Charlatans. Earlier in the same month Jiezuberband supported Fish on the Glasgow leg of his tour. The band enjoyed success at Cockrock this year being voted as one of the top ten acts of the festival by official reviewers Shattered Glass Media.

Highlights of 2010 for Jiezuberband were appearances at Cockrock, Weyfest and Solfest, but notably the band secured their first festival headline slots at Clarence Park Music Festival (Wakefield), Valentine Rock (Workington) and The Workhouse Festival (Llanfyllan).

During the same time the band was able to boast of debuting at a sold out O2 Academy as headliners of Rock Radio’s new band showcase Futuresfest in Glasgow. The impressive performance enabled the band to secure support slots at various other O2 venues and gain a large local fan base.
