Jigg a.k.a J-I-Double-G is an artist on the rise from Miami, FL making a major impact on the music industry both on the street and virally. After releasing the highly anticipated mixtape HighGrade in the spring of 2011 Jigg acquired a larger fan base and made a lot of people pay attention to the movement. Since the debut he has been one to look out for due to his ability to skillfully convey an array of diversity through his music and unique style which separates him from his peers. Heavy hitters DJ Drama an Don Cannon also acknowledged the MC's skills, by teaming up with him to drop Spittaduction, a freestyle mix of whit,charismatic word play, and dope punchlines over some over classic instrumentals which was released in May of 2012.
Jigg as an artist has been influenced by Hip Hop greats such as Jay-Z, 50 Cent, T.I. and Outkast. Focus, discipline and diligence are his keys to climbing up the ladder, something that all his idols have in common which is why he takes pride in putting in the ground work for his brand.
Jigg is on the verge of release the sequel to HighGrade, HighGrade2 later this year. The official single to the mixtape "So Hot", produced by grammy nominated producer T-Minus has been getting major radio support up and down the east coast and in Europe. HighGrade 2 will definitely accredit the MC's artistry and ability to make songs that people not only enjoy for entertainment purpose but connect with him as an artist and also invoke thought, feelings and have perspective on life situations.
