Bio

Kardell Pruitt a.k.a “Jigsaw” got started in the Hip-Hop industry as a Producer in 1999. While listening to the local rappers for a couple of months, Jigsaw felt that he had the talent to rap Hip-Hop style. Performing his natural talent to rap, Jigsaw went on to win multiple talent shows at his high school. Performing at school parties and in school bathrooms battles shaped Jigsaw’s stage performance and free style technique. This technique has brought people to know Jigsaw for his rhythms and virtuoso style.
His second year of high school Jigsaw formed a group by the name of Notorious, with a friend by the name of Anthony Kelsey a.k.a. T.A.L.K. The dynamic duo felt that they were ready for the next level, so they started recording in the studio. Struggling to achieve that perfect sound, nothing materialized until Jigsaw teamed up with his younger brother Vell a.k.a. “Gangster Vell”. They formed a new group known as Gangster Squad. This new group had chemistry that sparked the release of the new demo tape called “Gangster Squad the Demo”. The following year, after tasting the fruit of the music industry, Jigsaw was hungry for the rap game, so he went on to join a group named Murdalistic Clique. Performing at various outings and social events through 2000 and 2001, Jigsaw terrorized the rap game by lifting the group Murdalistic Clique to ultimate local Hip-Hop status. In 2002 Jigsaw decided to stretch his artistic freedom, by releasing his first solo album “A Day in the Life” under World Wide Destruction Record Company, a record company created by the talented Jigsaw the previous year. Working in the music industry and performing at CoCo’s House of Comedy brought him in contact with the professional Lisa Carter, amazed by the talent of Jigsaw, insisted that he help co-host a documentary on Detroit hottest up and coming rappers entitled “Mo-Money”. Getting this opportunity from Lisa Carter gave Jigsaw the privilege of working with and learning from other local rappers, like Al Nuke and Jiggy Jack, thus enhancing his business skills. Jigsaw’s main mission is to become one of the largest entertainers in the Detroit area. His latest venture has been looking for the right management and also working on his new album and getting a record deal. It is now 2007 and with much hard work and determination Jigsaw is still performing and making his name known in Michigan.
