Since first hearing recordings of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Sheryl Crow, and others, Jillian has gravitated to the sound of folk and root country. By the age of 14, she started playing at local open stages where she covered songs from the 60’s and 70’s, including songs by Leonard Cohen, Donovan, Melanie, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and others.
