"Loretta Lynn Pleases Orpheum Full House"

....Had she been sitting in the audience when Sioux Cityan Jill Miller sang, she probably would have been the first to lead a standing ovation. Miller performed a wide variety of songs (from one she said had a John Mayer vibe to a strong clutch of love songs) and demonstrated beautiful harmony with her sister Barb Johnson. The two were especially good on "How Great Thou Art" and touched more than a few hearts with a song she had written about her Morningside neighborhood.

Miller said she couldn't believe she was opening for Lynn. But knowing how down to earth she is, Lynn was probably thrilled to be closing for Miller. - Sioux City Journal

Bio

I have been singing my entire life, and I was recently thrilled to open for the legendary Loretta Lynn. I have also performed with NewSong and Brian Littrell. I am a songwriter, and I go to Nashville almost every month to improve my craft and to network. I do a solo show with my sister that is an acoustic style show, with me on guitar and some background tracks. These are mainly Christian shows. I also have a secular band called "Girlfriend" that has three girls as the main singers, so we have incredible three-part harmony. We also have an awesome band backing us up with some of the best players in our area. I have been compared vocally to Amy Grant, Shania Twain and Allison Krauss, who have been influences in my music. The thing that sets us apart from other bands is our vocals. We have three girls up front singing perfect harmonies, and our voices blend very well. We have all been performing for a long time, so we are comfortable on stage and able to engage our audiences and have a blast!
