"Out of the Fryin' Pan and Into the Fire"

Check out an interview, pg 26-27 - Today and Tonight Magazine

"Today and Tonight"

“Jill's Cashbox is an absolute fantastic live ensemble, although their shows rival the raw work of their album. Returning to what the root of country music is..."story tellin' and painting a picture about life" as they say. Down South, good lovin country music that's good for the soul! Today & Tonight Magazine loves Jill's Cashbox!”
- — Adrienne Plati, Today & Tonight Magazine

"97 Country WPCV"

“Jill’s Cashbox provides a sound unlike anything heard in country music today. Southern truths run deep through their lyrics. Their live performances will leave you yearning for more. After listening to their debut album, it will make you want to grab the one you love and have a “Moonshine Monday Night.” There is one word that describes this band more than any other…passionate. And it’s that “passion” that country music listeners are craving…Jill’s Cashbox provides that tenfold.” - Sara Michaels - 97 Country WPCV, Country Radio Personality

Bio

Jill's Cashbox emerged in 2011 when 3 musicians/friends came together and started writing original music telling the story of their lives and of those around them. 3 guys from the outskirts of town, who all have played music either together or with a multitude of various projects, came together and found their roots in the music they write. The songs are focused on storytelling and painting pictures about life in "The South". Huntin', fishin', whiskey sippin', guitar pickin', rockin' and rollin'! And don't forget "Livin', lovin' everything they do!"

Their influences are from the Almans to Alabama, Maiden to Montgomery Gentry, James Taylor to Jason Aldean, Jennings and Jones to Jimi and Janis, The Doors to The Oak Ridge Boys, Rush to Randy Travis, Hank to Hell Yeah...and the list goes on. They may know how to rock, but don't be fooled, they're all country!

You have heard JCB live on 97 Country, WPCV. You also can hear on 97 Country everyday at 3:00 p.m. as they wrote and recorded the intro song to The Sara Michaels Show.

In June of 2011, Jill's Cashbox recorded with Hestla Productions and released the self titled album in July 2011.

Since the release of the album, the band has added a bass player, keys and a new lead guitarist. In the bands 6 short months, they have shared the stage with CMA nominees Thompson Square as well as Josh Turner. They have played the House Of Blues - Orlando twice and have another upcoming show there slotted for April 2012. JCB has also just been invited to play the Runaway Country Festival in Melbourne, FL and will be playing between 2011 Grammy Nominee Chris You and Country superstars Big and Rich.
