Jim Piela is a New York, NY based musician with his Masters degree in Jazz Instrumental Music Performance from New York University. He has studied with greats such as Dave Pietro, Billy Drewes, Mark Turner, John Scofield, Lenny Pickett, Alan Ferber, Rich Shemaria, Brad Shepik, and Billy Drummond. Jim currently performs with multiple ensembles (click here for details on Jim’s upcoming events) and teaches lessons for any skill level (click here for more information).
