Bio
Jim Berkeley is an award winning singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist from Burlington, VT. His music combines pre-war blues, country, and old-time with lyrics that speak to current events, relationships, and rural life. He has a BA in music composition and conducting from Bates College and is currently studying mandolin with Nashville bluegrass legend Mike Compton. He has performed at such diverse venues as Club Passim, Columbia University, Vincent's, Ukestock '08, and the historic Hotel Vernon.
