"Jimi Tunnell"

(Excerpts from the Guitar Player Magazine interview by Bill Milkowski)-

Jimi has been burning up the fretboard with the world class fusion group Steps Ahead. Other New York gigs include Mona Lisa Overdrive, a fusion quartet led by former Miles Davis keyboardist Adam Holzman, and his own Trilateral Commission....
Then there's (the) Jimi Tunnell band,
an ensemble that gives the guitarist a chance to flex his vocal chops.
Though Tunnell is one of the hottest soloists around, he decries the modern-day emphasis among young guitarists on technique over feel. "There is a tendency to just play fast without having any organic flow", he warns. "To me, it's all about touch". - Guitar Player Magazine
