Lyrics

Between You & I

Written By: Jim MacDonald

I'll never pick you up when it is not wanted, but I'll never let you down just understand.
I'll never tell you lies unless there is some truth, and I'll never tell you things that I don't know.

Suddenly it all starts to make sense, and I know why it feels alright. When I look into your eyes child, please don't ever lie.

Just lay it on the line.

I'll never break your heart or tell the way to feel, and I'll never tell you your right from your wrong.
'Cause I know you'll feel just fine telling it the way it is, but telling it the way it is; I dont understand.

Suddenly it all starts to make sense, and I know why it feels alright. When I look into your eyes child, please don't ever lie.

Just lay it on the line.

Lemongrass

Written By: Jim MacDonald

I know you were fine on Sunday, but still I could not find you in the rain.
I know you were fine on Monday, but still you deny me all the same.

There's nothing worse than feeling wanted, and then finding in the end that you're not.
I can play that kind of game if that's the kind of lovin' that you've got.

You say that we need to slow down, but why can't we take it fast? In memory I'll linger like the scent of Lemongrass.

It's the way the sunlight comes throught the blinds and brightens up your hair.
It's the same way that you try so hard just to let me know how much you care.

You say that we need to slow down, but why can't we take it fast? In memory I'll linger like the scent of Lemongrass.

And now I fall like rain. Now I fall...

You say that we need to slow down, but why can't we take it fast? In memory I'll linger like the scent of Lemongrass.
