Green Peppers is the 1st solo project of former Soup Dragon guitarist Jim McCulloch.

GREEN PEPPERS first album ,JONI`S GARDEN, was released in early 2005 on Glasgow`s NEON TETRA label to great critical acclaim.The album features guest contributions from Isobel Campbell and other distinguished Glaswegian musicians.

Glasgow-based Jim is a gifted guitarist and songwriter,his most recent work was recording performing and writing with MERCURY MUSIC PRIZE nominee ISOBEL CAMPBELL,for whom he wrote “Its Hard To Kill A Bad Thing” which appears on her MARK LANEGAN collaboration ,“The Ballad Of The Broken Seas“.Jim has also played on and written the title track of her new musical offering on V2 records,“Milkwhite Sheets.”

Green Peppers have finished recording their second album,DOMINO MORNINGS,which features vocal contributions from ISOBEL CAMPBELL,JUSTIN CURRIE(del amitri) and DANIEL WYLIE(cosmic rough riders),and was recorded and mixed by MARK FREEGARD(manic st preachers,The Breeders) and RAYMOND MCGINLEY(teenage fan club).The album features 11 songs of sometimes exquisite song writing and musicianship which will only serve to enhance Jim`s growing reputation as one of Scotland`s best song -writing talents.This album will hit the stores in July.
Jim is touring internationally as guitarist in the Isobel Campbell/Mark Lanegan band to universal critical approval,and is in the studio currently recording the guitars on the much-anticipated follow-up to "Ballad".
