Jim Morton

Jim Morton, writes rhythmic and lyrical poetry, filled with the passion and longings of all lovers. With a gypsy heart, this songwriter/musician brings a “ tune-like “ quality to his poetry. Skyline Literary Magazine, Poetic Voices Magazine, Dana Literary Society, Blue Mountain Arts and various online publications have all featured his poetry. Recently, “ Bluesy Guitar “was named “First Place Winner” in American Songwriting Magazines Lyric Competition in July, 2004. Jim writes under the pen name “ wchimesjim “ , referring to his extensive collection of wind chimes. He writes regularly on such sites as Poetry Lane, Authors Den and thestarlightcafe.com as well as his own site, Windchimes, and many others. Jim has self published three other poetry volumes, “I’ll Give You Autumn”,“ Remnants Of The Night “ and “ Kisses In The Wind “, and all are featured, with samples of his work, on Jim’s website, www.wchimes.com.
