Hailing from San Jose,CA, now residing in San Diego, Jimmy Javier is an emcee/producer with a unique take on what hip hop is sounding like.
Gaining inspiration from greats such as Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and J Dilla as well as new school producers !llmind, S1, M-Phazes, and Swiff D, his production style can be classified as boom bap hip hop with a modern, new school twist.
As an emcee, Jimmy prides himself in his ability to come up with catchy hooks and clever punchlines. Opting to stray from club and party banter, Jimmy chooses to show that lyricism is still alive in hip hop and that the culture is still thriving.
Having opened for acts such as: Wale, Mike Posner, Blu, Open Mike Eagle, and Oddisee. Jimmy can set the tone with an energetic, crowd engaging show.
