From the pine tree ladened, winding backroads of Northeast Texas comes the Jimmy Kerley Band.
The very backroads and landscapes that lay claim to the songs frontman Jimmy Kerley writes —
“I write what I know; and what I know is a nineties rock with country influence and small town relationships.”
Seeing success with their first release, “Ain’t Enough Texas” and with their current new release “Leave This Town,” it is ever apparent that the recipe tastes right.
The band was formed with enlistment of drummer Kreston Willeford and bassist cousin Drew Willeford. Two “small town kids” from Northeast Texas who share a passion for both music and performing. Lead guitar players Adam Ragland and Brett Weilbrenner round out the sound with a range of influences.
The Jimmy Kerley Band is looking to make their mark and claim their spot in Red Dirt Music.
