Bio
Born in Milwaukee and moving to Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 10, Jimmy Astro packs a combination of Midwestern flow and lyricism with a Southern twist. Now at the age of 22, Jimmy has developed a sound like no other. Handling mostly everything himself from production to mixing/mastering his own music Jimmy is determined to make it. Citing Wale, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi as influences, the Flight Crew and 5thFlo member’s inspiration draws, as he states it, from the “self reliance and efficiency of these artists achieving success through their own will and machine.” and also makes the comment, “Nobody will work harder for you than yourself.” With those wise words, this young artist’s career is set on the right path.
