Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter is a singing comedian from Chicago IL, who started writing comedy songs back in fall of 2003. Jimmy was inspired to do comedy when he saw the stand of specials of Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr along with many others, but was truly inspired to do musical comedy when he saw the stand of special of Stephen Lynch. Always a big fan of music and making people laugh it was only natural when he started writing comedy tunes. Over the next couple of years Jimmy Carter would continue to write more songs and eventually started playing shows. The first official Jimmy Carter show was in the Spring of 2006, but didn't really start playing out till 2007, were he played for hundreds of ppl in just the first three shows of the year. Later that year he would release his debut album "Donuts" and would tour the Midwest in support of this album. Over the following years Jimmy would go on playing more shows and writing more songs only to get more fans and laughs everywhere he and his guitar go. Sex, drugs and donuts continue to be a part of this comedians' life and continue to bring more inspiration for new songs and as long as there's something funny to sing about there will always be Jimmy Carter behind a mic and a guitar.
