INTRODUCTION
A musical artist wholly dedicated to a craft of sharing songs resonant with emotion, Jimmy Marshall delivers entertainment that is authentic and universal. Whether it’s revisiting classic hits or offering up original songs inspired by his personal experiences, Jimmy connects with a wide spectrum of listeners through his extraordinary guitar and vocal talents.

BEGINNINGS
Writing a sizable catalog of songs in the 1990s along with his enjoyment of singing southern and classic rock hits prompted the start of Jimmy’s performance career in 2000. Locally Jimmy has played for The City of Vista, The City of Escondido's First Night, Home Depot's Peace Garden and Upper Deck's Little League World Series BBQ. Also, playing at such historic venues like the Whisky A Go Go and Roxy Theatre in Hollywood and The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Jimmy became a polished entertainer blending powerful guitar chords and rich vocals.

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY
A car accident interrupted Jimmy’s musical career, although at the time it wasn’t considered anything akin to an interruption. It was more like a conclusion. Doctors said his injuries would prevent him from performing again. Yet, Jimmy’s determination to return to the stage ultimately helped him turn the initial prognosis on its head. Jimmy’s firm belief in his well-being prevailed after eight years away from performing.

MOVING FORWARD
Jimmy is back doing what he loves – making and sharing music. He emphasizes that it’s not about fame and it’s not about money. “I just want a chance to go out and play after what I went through,” he said. “I’ll spend my own money to go cross country and play somewhere where I can prove myself as a serious musician. It’s about giving (and) just a chance to play.”
