Bio
Jimmy Mazz has a powerful vocal delivery which evolves from a personal interpretation of every song he sings. He has presented his unique solo act featuring a twelve string acoustic guitar, at colleges, clubs, and concert stages, throughout the East Coast from New York City and New England to Florida as well as in beautiful Southern California. Jimmy’s original CD "Ordinary Man" was co-produced by Billy Joel’s long time bass player, Doug Stegmeyer, and has received air play on radio stations throughout the United States. The musical style of Jimmy Mazz offers a dynamic blend of instrumental arrangements and lyrics that reach beyond specific classification. The feeling behind this artist’s voice will touch the listener. He has acquired a devoted fan base throughout the Northeast, especially in New York, Long Island and the Hamptons, where a thriving music scene exists. When Jimmy is not touring the U.S. college student and military base activities curcuit, he can be heard year-round in local restaurants and nightclubs singing his originals and favorite cover songs. He is constantly in high demand for private parties showcasing his solo musical act on 12-string acoustic guitar and at times with two piece, three piece and full band musical accompaniment for a full band sound for your event. Look for Jimmy's next CD of originals, including "Something New," coming out in 2008. It's about time!
