Over the years Jimmy has perfomed with some of the best nationally and regionally known acts. Artists like Jr. Wells, Sugar Blue, Little Mack Simmons, Byther Smith, Buddy Scott and many others have shared the stage with Warren.

Now, after 10 years away from the Chicago Blues scene, Jimmy Warren has returned as a well defined smooth jazz artist. Although his background is deeply rooted in the heart of blues, Jimmy has created truly soulful music while overlaying it with smooth heartfelt guitar. He consumes a song with passion and draws you into a place of musical sensation.

“Mirada Sobre” Jimmy’s debut CD is due to be released in September of 2007 on K.T. Recordz. The CD is a reminder to Jimmy to “look above.” It is a realization that everything good comes from above. All the songs on Warren’s debut CD, “Mirada Sobre” were arranged, performed, produced and written by Jimmy Warren.

Jimmy is surrounded by seasoned musicians that compliment one another musically.

Drummer Terry Mason has performed with artist B.B. King, Little Milton, the Staple Singers, Shirley King, Artie White, Otis Rush and many others. Terry is a master of compeling grooves and solid beats. He is able to create a dynamic element to the musical atmosphere.

Bassist Anthony Williams has performed for 20 years with many regionally known acts. He is gifted at creating just the right groove and being the driving force behing the rhythms. Compared to Nathan East, Williams shows himeself to be a true professional bassist, with the ability to perform all styles of music.

Percussionist & Keyboardist David Springer has also perfomed with many reigonal artist. Well know in his area as the "Best" percussionist he is an asset to inspiring sounds within Jimmy's music.

Together they create a sound and style that is polished and professional.

Jimmys goal is to perform at national and international venues. (Clubs, Hotels, Resorts, Cruise Lines, Casino's, Festivals and Conferences) Warren is also working to achieve international distribution and following.

Jimmy is Currently planning a fall tour and the release of his debut Cd "Mirada Sobre."

Along with the original smooth jazz material Jimmy performs, he also has recreated loved songs from various genres of music as smooth jazz intrumentals. Songs from artist like Steely Dan, Sade, 4 Tops, Police and many others. These recreations are creative, soulful and crowd pleasers.
