Bio

Jinchi is consistently complimented with the phrase "creativity"- and they should be.

In 2008 this rock band, inspired by metal, formed in Modesto, California. Though their successes have gained them accolades, such as playing to crowds of over twenty-thousand people or endorsement deals with a highly respected drum company, Jinchi has had to be creative while persevering through some tough times.

Influenced by Pantera and The Mars Volta, the band united with a goal to develop a higher sense of existence within a musical realm. What they got in return was unexpected local fame and the heartbreak of addiction that often accompanies success. In 2009, Jinchi had to replace their original lead singer as a result of a ongoing battle with chemical addiction. Defeated, yet inspired, the band continued on writing songs with funky base lines, heavy and hard hitting drums, versatile guitar, and lyrics which brings forth a haunting sound.

Jinchi is well on the way to the road of success. The band was nominated for a 2009 MAMA (Modesto Area Music Awards) - a highly respected accomplishment within this California city. For ten years, the MAMA's have been showcasing the best of Modesto's regional music and events. The association is a tight knit group of well respected community members who fully support the efforts of Jinchi.

In addition, Jinchi was hand selected to participate in the San Francisco's Battle of The Bands. The event boasts thousands of music enthusiasts and is sponsored by media valued brands such as Stella Artois and Kronick Energy. As if these accomplishments were not prestigious enough- the two-year old band has grasped regular rotation on Canada's FNA Radio station and will be featured in an upcoming interview by Banana Peel Radio. FNA radio caters to metal, goth, and punk fans- and is the "go to" station in Ontario, Canada for the world's best up and coming bands.

X-Fest is also a proud stepping stone for this band of six members. Jinchi was invited to play the Bud Light sponsored concert put on by Chris Ricci. The event hosts six stages and the world's largest outdoor disco. Truly, the event is a community affair meshing an appreciation of all musical genres with all-walks of life. Crowds at X-Fest often exceed twenty-thousand paying customers.

As the list of mainstream accomplishments thickens, Jinchi also picked up a heavyweight endorsement deal from Pork Pie Drums. Jinchi's endorsement with Pork Pie Drums places them alongside a famous caliber of Pork Pie endorsed artists -such as Mick Fleetwood, Frank Ferrer (who has played with Guns N' Roses), Bryan McMackin with Pennywise, and George Recile (who has played with Bob Dylan, Keith Richards and Bonnie Rait).

Jinchi is about to launch their debut full length studio album in 2010. For more media tear sheets, or for a full band bio, please contact Jinchi's publicity team at jinchimusic@gmail.com or 209-613-3561
