Bio
Forming in 2004 as part of Newcastle's heavy rock scene, .jinn has brought to the table their own blend of genres and are continuing to further their sound. The band has supported acts such as COG, Frenzal Rhomb, Karnivool, Faker, The Sleepy Jackson and the herd. Recently the band played several shows with the Butterfly Effect on their "Imago Tour" and have sold out their own headlining shows of 1500 capacity.
.jinns debut release; part a; was recorded and mixed by Greg Stace (One Dollar Short) with the single "money for medicine" debuting at #32 on the Aria singles chart, evident of a strong live following. The follow up EP will feature the bands collaboration with US producer Rick Will (Incubus, Johnny Cash, No Doubt, Ben Harper, Elvis Costello, Ziggy Marley).
