Bio
Jean Simmons aka Jino-The-Don, was born in La Ceiba, Honduras (Central America). At age five Jino arrived in America with his mother and father in 1991. That very day his father and mother separated in Memphis, TN. Jino would not see or hear from his father again until he was twelve years old. For a majority of his life he was raised by a single mother along with his two younger sisters. Jino was brought up through many different walks of life, from the hood to the suburbs. Taking a deeper look at his life, you easily see how his music reflects life. This is why his fan base is so diverse. “Many who listen to my music have made personal connections“. Jino is the voice for many poor and middle class kids born into a bad situations. Jino was brought to America to have an opportunity. He speaks for the everyday hard working nine to five individuals, who want no more in life then to be successful.
