Jirah

Jirah, also known as Latoya Spence, born and raised in Philadelphia is a young lady who is sold-out for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with no doubt of who He is and what He has done for her life. As a youth she often dipped her finger in a bag of trouble, thus tasting its consequences. However, at the age of sixteen she fully gave her life to Christ and began writing rhymes while serving in the youth ministry. She was inspired by various artists such as Judah Priest, T-Wyse, and Infinity, who she has worked side by side with in perfecting her gift.

Today, Jirah is delivering high-energy performances that bring a different flavor of ministering to souls. She is currently performing at local open-mic cafés and youth events around the Tri-State area. With plans to release her first album in Summer of 2006, Jirah is investing in her music career by using tracks from hit making producers such as Saint Man of Shaddai Recordings, HotHandz of HotHandz Xclusives, and Irv Washington of End Tyme Productions.

Not only does Jirah have talent in the rapping arena she also has started her own clothing line, in which a few items was featured at the May 2005 INSPIRE college fundraising concert. INSPIRE was fully funded by Jirah due to the need of encouragement and support for urban youth to pursue college and fulfill their career goals. With approximately 650 youth and adults in attendance she was able to raise money for two $1000 scholarships. Keep your ears and eyes open because this is only a glimpse of what Jirah has to offer.
