Jive the Universal

Jive the Universal was a boy that was caught between 2 worlds. He grew up playing in rock n' roll bands with his friends, becoming proficient in many instruments. All the while, Jive was a lover of hip-hop and by the age of 15 was writing and self-producing solo tracks. After years of being stuck on the fence musically, and a few falling outs with labels and producers, Jive decided to merge his 2 art forms. He quickly learned the he was able to play technical guitar riffs while rapping at the same time. Combine this with the knowledge of rock structuring and groove changes he was already accustom to in his many rock bands he fronted. In the end, the band now known as Jive the Universal seemlessly merges hip-hop, and pop rock/live instruments creating a sound and debuting a voice that is easily accepted and respected.
