"Bigg Dee & the #ChefBoyz Midnight Marauders Freestyle (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)"

Hip-hop is alive and well in Beantown. Two nights ago, Bigg Dee and the #ChefBoyz stopped by WTBU’s Midnight Marauders radio show for an interview and a little on-air freestyle session, and what ended up breaking out (above) was what co-host Matt Paterno called “one of the most live performances the show has ever seen.”

The Fresh Heir was in the building as Boston U filmmaker Lee Feiner captured some exclusive footage, part of which will appear in his upcoming documentary featuring several other Boston musicians and performers in addition to Bigg Dee.

Seen in the video is the full, uncut freestyle delivered by Bigg Dee and fellow #ChefBoyz Vlad (@MrREALLYTHO) and Reality (@FlyGuyReal) following the live interview with Paterno and the Marauders’ other co-host, Bill Frothingham.

I think I speak for everyone that was in attendance that night when I say that the energy was absolutely electric and the passion and excitement were on another level. Bigg Dee and the #ChefBoyz brought it in every sense of the term, and the good vibes were contagious. They feed off one another’s talent and ambition, and there’s never a doubt that they’re gracious for every opportunity and enjoying every minute of it. No question, these guys have a bright future in store. The Boston rap scene has officially been given a breath of Fresh Heir.

I've really feeling Bigg Dee's flow especially on his remix of Wiz Khalifa's "The Thrill". The "No Days Off" Cypher is fly all around, but check out Bigg Dee's verse on it, straight fire punchlines. "[New Music]: Bigg Dee – We Go Hard (It’s Yo Fault) Prod. by KOUNTDOWN"

Earlier tonight, we saw D-Note drop the first cut off his upcoming mixtape. Just a few minutes ago, fellow Boston rapper Bigg Dee followed suit, releasing “We Go Hard (It’s Yo Fault)”, the debut track off HIS upcoming mixtape, #TOTB This Is Only The Beginning.

“We Go Hard”, produced by KOUNTDOWN, is a dope track that, for lack of a better phrase, goes hard…. real hard. Of all the up-and-coming hip-hop artists I’ve been following and posting about lately, Bigg Dee may have the most defined style, and I really like the direction in which his music seems to be headed. I first posted his “Niggas In Boston (Niggas In Paris Freestyle” a few weeks back, and since then I’ve been highly anticipating the next Bigg Dee production. Needless to say, “We Go Hard” did not let me down.

#TOTB is set to release on January 11th, so by all means stay tuned through that date, and be on the lookout for more Bigg Dee tracks as that date draws nearer. And don’t forget to check out the links and download “We Go Hard” below. - The Fresh Heir

"Bigg Dee – Niggas In Boston (Official Video)"

Boston’s own Bigg Dee dropped the highly anticipated visual for “Niggas In Boston (Niggas In Paris Freestyle)” last night, and it’s a must watch. With the rest of the #ChefBoyz in tow, Bigg Dee literally cooks up a crazy freestyle over the most popular track of the fall, and the fast-paced and energetic video is a perfect accompaniment to the track. After watching it a few times, I found it hard not to start cheffin up my own meals at the same time.

I happened to meet Bigg Dee at the Lil B show last night, so the timing of this video release was pretty convenient. Expect to hear a lot more from Bigg Dee in the coming months with his upcoming mixtape set for January. Stay tuned, you can catch it all here.

(NOTE: Don’t let the Knicks snapback throw the whole Boston thing off – in the words of the man himself, you gotta represent where you were born too.. – I respect that.) - The Fresh Heir
