Bio

Born on the island of Martinique, I came to the U.S. at age 6 and lived in Manhattan and Washington DC most of my life with frequent trips to Europe and the Caribbean

I played in his first band at age 14 in Washington DC, and after playing in many band projects, he decided to further his musical passion with songwriting and gigs. So , the singer/songwriter, keyboardist, and DJ, went to New York!

I came out with his first CD in 1995: In Between 2 Worlds. The more popular tracks, "On and On", "Martinique" and "Fragil" kept the fans happy while performing in a lot of venues.

As his native tropical style tends to dominate, strong hooks complement this flavor with a more commercial pop flair. Many compared his music to that of Sting and Elton John with tropical and Latin undertones. He showcased all over Manhattan in such clubs as Le Bar Bat's, Esso Supper Club, CBGB Gallery, Dark Star Lounge and Kenny's Castaway. The critics were somewhat accepting of his style and talent (press).

I was featured at a North Shore Animal League benefit, covered by FOX 5 and WPLJ in Long Island . He was also featured in a radio interview on WBAI In New York. Back in DC, He has been showcasing his songs in the DC area at Shark Club, Tom Brazil, La Vida Loca and Barnes and Nobles. He has spun records at many festive events both in DC and NYC. He recently performed at the European Commission inauguration celebration at the Belgium Ambassador's house in Washington DC.

I have released my second CD (promo CD with 5 songs), Summer Heart which has a stronger Latin flavor . From Nashville where he received 2nd place prize from Billboard Magazine for his song "Fragil" and honorable mention for "River". He is now working on going back to his roots, Martinique with "Baby Love", a Pop with zouk rhythms!
