There have been artists before him who have put Toronto on the map but JJones is here to confirm that Canada is the new home of hip hop. JJones is a rapper, songwriter, and has even directed and edited videos. His opinions and worldview are shaped by the streets of the Megacity that raised him. His energy is electrifying, his honesty is pore raising and his delivery- lethal. A leader by nature, JJones stands out among the crowd in a way that will inspire and move you.

He might be young but he is no amateur in the hip hop arena. His large fanbase can testify to the many years he has committed to fine tuning his craft. To his credit he has shared the stage with hip hop heavyweights like Shady Aftermath’s Royce Da 5’9, Canibus, Freeway and the Legendary Ghostface Killah. There is also no shortage of local talent vying to collaborate with him. Keeping true to his origins, JJones has never shied away from the challenge of creating tracks that make his city proud.
2011 saw JJones infiltrate the U.S. music scene, when Buffalo’s WBLK’s Unsigned Hype featured the single "You Want but You Can’t Have" in their regular rotation. Another single, "Whisper in ya Ear," was highly acclaimed and attracted the attention of MorBurn Music contest, winning him the recognition of 2010’s Last Track Standing . With two distinct mixtapes under his belt, Gone Hollywood (2011) featuring JJones, Quinn C Martin, and Dj EVILuotion and 2010’s Dj EVILuotion presents... JJones – Mega King State of Mind,

2012 JJones is well on his way to a long and promising career with his first full original material project "Patience Is A Virtue" due later in the year mostly produced by his cousin Ya Boy Got Beats featuring hits like; You Want But You Can't Have, I'm Nice, Beat The odds & I'm A King.
