Jamel "JL" Lewis possesses a musical artistry that blossomed at an early age. Coming from a musically talented family, "JL" is skilled at the piano and drums. As a student at Kenwood Academy High School "JL" was classically trained by the best vocal instuctors. Being the first tenor in Kenwood chior, he later secured a spot as the lead vocalist, and soloist. He also toured the country with the chior.

JL continues to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a sucessful musician and entertainer. JL's self-motivation and perservering spirit has allowed him to tremendously grow as a vocalist, songwriter, and producer. This 24yr old has been a featured artist at the Chi-lites 25th anniversary concert, and with his electricfying stage performances it has earned him to be the 2008 Midwest Concert Series "Artist of the Year" award.

jL., Multi-Genre Recording Artist/Songwriter/Producer & one half of the dynamic production duo The Noizy Boyz. A native of Chicago, jL. discovered his singing and songwriting abilities at a very young age as he followed and emulated artists that inspired him such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Born into a musically talented family, jL. was also blessed with the ability to play the piano as well as the drums.
jL. attended Kenwood Academy High School in Chicago, IL. where he received classical voice lessons from one of the best vocal instructors in the Midwest. He began to master his vocal craft as a first tenor in the Kenwood Academy Concert Choir. jL. also took his rightful place as a lead vocalist/soloist in the choir and has toured the country.
After graduating high school, jL. moved forward toward his lifelong dream of becoming a successful musical entertainer. His self-motivated and persistent spirit has led him to grow tremendously not only as a vocalist, but as a young man.
jL. has shared the stage with several legendary artists such as MC Lyte, Jeffery Osborne and Steve Harvey. He was a featured artist at The Chi-lites 25th anniversary concert in Chicago. jL. was a fearured artist on the Ebony Magazines "Black Family Reunion" Tour. In 2008, jL. was awarded the 2008 "Midwest Concert Series" R&B Artist of the Year honor.
Being a master in the art of storytelling, jL. has used his vivid imagination and creative energy to co-write/produce his forthcoming album "Electric Love Sound". He is one of the hottest R&B artist set to make his mark in the industry. jL. is honored and ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to share his special gift with the world.
