Jlynn has been influenced by the sounds of Anita Baker, Me'lissa Morgan, Janet Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, Earth Wind & Fire, Phyllis Hyman, Mariah Carey, Gladys Knight and the likes of artists who have paved the way in the R&B arena.
Jlynn began singing in her hometown church choir in Danbury, CT and continued to grow in her musical training ending up in Atlanta, GA where she met a talented production team known as Music 101.
Music 101 is a great credit to Jlynn and her great talent in writing the music she feels from her heart. Jlynn's experiences in music have been various from performing in independent productions to her new solo project that shows her emotional ties to R&B music.
Jlynn is bringing back the days of R&B when it was okay to say how you felt about that special someone or to tell the world how so and so did you so wrong.
It has taken years for Jlynn to emerge on the scene, but she's finally arrived with a collection of music to soothe the soul and have you falling in love all over again. The sexiness and sensuousness of her music makes you think you are there with her and perhaps experienced some of what she is feeling.
