J. Melody

Many are now discovering the music of this young soon to be chart topper, J. Melody, the work of a seasoned veteran. By writing R&B ballads that paint pictures with every breath, it is as if he was making music back when R&B reached it’s pinnacle point in the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s. Inspired by the likes of R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Maxwell, Babyface, Luther Vandross and Musiq, J. Melody has encompassed generations of talented musicians that have helped shape his sound. At the early age of 3, his mother knew he needed to be in the spotlight. Singing in front of family members, and breaking out mimicking the smooth moves of Michael Jackson, Melody's talent was always shinning.

Although musically gifted, Melody spent the focus of his early teens on his second love, athletics. In 2005 he obtained the highest academic standing in his high school English course, and found a new love in the sport of High Jump. In Less than a year J. Melody solidified his position as being one of Canada’s top contenders as a junior, and in 2006 would go onto place second in The Nationals. In 2007 J Melody focused relentlessly on his song writing and vocals and to date has written and recorded over 100 songs. After securing a worldwide digital distribution deal with top independent distributor "E1 Entertainment," J. Melody plans released a 5 song EP, Which Includes the Smash Hits "Superstar" and Mid Night Luv (Produced By D10).
