The J. Morrison Band has a big range of musical influences, rock, bluegrass, blues, country and jazz. Their original music is rock/jam band currently. The J Morrison Band currently plays in the Southcentral Kansas area and in Northern Oklahoma. The band is actively seeking gigs and is currently working on their next studio project. The band has new material ready for the studio and has already performed most of the new songs live.

What sets the J Morrison Band apart from other bands in this area is they write their own music. They can and do play a wide variety of covers songs.

The J Morrison Band line up began in 2004. They have stuck together through many adversities and have become a tight musical unit. Since the beginning in 2004 they have played many shows and have a love for what they do musically. The band enjoys meeting new people, helping out fellow musicians and has developed a dedicated following over the years. The band recently won the KIXR Power 104.7 battle of the bands in Northen Oklahoma. All the members currently live in Winfield, Ks. the home of the Winfield Country Roundup, the Walnut Valley Festival and the National Flatpicking Championships.
