A dynamic and vibrant part of the Midwest music scene, JNH Band has been knocking people’s socks off since 2004.Simply stated, they are an acoustic duo with a very big sound.While JNH Band has a smorgasbord of toe tapping covers in their musical inventory, they are better known for their soulful and lively originals.

Jud and Nathan provide the perfect soundtrack to your best evenings out.Jud provides unwavering lead vocals and guitar, and Nathan makes the sound come alive with his back-up vocals, rhythm guitar, and percussion.Their fun, sweeping originals are comprised mostly of Jud’s life experiences and practiced song writing skills.You will not be disappointed by their sound or their showmanship.

Probably the most important reason to become a fan of any band is because of their music.JNH Band recently released a self titled album that has earned rave reviews from I-Tunes, Reverbnation, and fans alike.Released on November 26, 2008, it gained local recognition quickly and left people wanting more.

In response, JNH Band is gearing up to release their second album; a compilation of live songs from their shows.The only thing better than listening to one of their albums, is seeing them perform live.Jud and Nathan’s energy and passion for music jumps off the stage and makes you want dance.

Recently, JNH Band was chosen to be one of the 15 bands competing in Minnesota’s Battle of the Band’s sponsored by Border Foods and Fox 29.Receiving thousands of votes per week kept them in the competition through the third round of voting.

JNH Band is CHEAP!

JNH Band puts fans first.Ninety percent of their shows are free to the public and they only plan to improve that number.

“We want to make music as inexpensive as possible for our fans.With the economic hardships we have out there right now, we want our fans to come out and enjoy our music without the worry of their wallet.” ~ Jud

Along with free entry into shows, you can get free music downloads.Shortly after the release of their self titled album in November of 2008, JNH Band was approached by Reverbnation and Microsoft to participate in a rare fan-based program.Through these companies, Jud and Nathan were able to offer up some of their music FREE to new and existing fans.

Being a fan should be FUN!JNH band completely agrees with this idea and steps up to the plate!Every year in the fall, they host “Get On the Bus with JNH Band.”They rent several party buses, and treat their fans to a night of fun; including lots of free booze and music.The cost per ticket is minimal compared to everything that is included.This is not something they do for profit…they do it as a THANK YOU for their fans support.

JNH Band prides itself on giving back to the community.Supporting Cancer Awareness, The RT Autism Awareness Foundation, and providing entertainment free of charge for a variety of benefit events definitely keeps them busy.

JNH Band is not a band with budget dollars for marketing, managers, or a team of writers.They pride themselves on their independence, creativity, and their ability to accommodate to any situation.
