J. Nichole Noel

J. Nichole Noel is a multi-talented mother who has been inspired to write two poetry books, two children's stories and record two poetry CDs. As an African-Canadian she stresses that women don't have to lose their personal identies after having children. Her first CD entitied "Verse - The Power of the Spoken Words in Music" was successfully released at the Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts. It is a compelling CD that encompasses the theatrical art of performance poetry with a smooth blend of Jazz, Blues, African, Spiritual and Reggae music through the riveting, soft, distinct voice of J. Nichole Noel. Considered the "Female Barry White of Poetry", her innovative style carries the art of performance poetry and song to another leve of entertainment. Her diversity has allowed her to break down many cultural barriers and gracing multi-genre stages in Canada and New York. She is the author of Intimate Interludes, circling the three aspects of love - consisting of love stories, Crimes of Sensual Passion and Teardrop Stained Sheets.
