Bio
Jeremy Noya, originally from Peru, grew up in Houston TX where he was immediately immersed in the Hip Hip greats of his youth. Quickly he developed a love of the lyrical giants of Hip Hop, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, and Immortal Technique, to name a few. Jeremy has lived all over the country from LA, to NY, to Utah, which has only further expanded his hip hop influence.
Matt Slack was raised playing classical piano, and later picked up drums and ended up majoring in Percussion Performance in college. Matt's musical influences range from Brahms, to Slayer, to the Roots, to Jamiriquoi. His experimentation in producing hip hop came after doing a remix of his University's marching band fight song.
Jeremy and Matt met up when starting a live hip hop band in 2009. After scheduling for a group that size became too exhausting, they decided to play as a duo. Matt programs his beats with out drums on a roland pad, and triggers the sampled music while playing drums live. Jeremy rips up the lyrical flows while engaging the crowd.
