5 song EP called Sometimes a Daydream available on I-Tunes. The background instrumentals were recorded by Scott Ferguson Music Productions in Halifax. All songs on the EP were sung by Joanna, 4 were co-writen with Alan MacLeod. A single "Stand Together" co-written by Joanna and Dream for Real is available on I-Tunes under Dream for Real.

Joanna developed a passion for music while singing and performing in Broadway musicals. While pursuing her doctorate degree in psychology, she discovered a hidden ability for songwriting. Joanna dove into working with professional songwriters like Andy Kim, Rik Emmett, Damnhait Doyle, at Humber College. Andy Kim was excited about "Sometimes a Daydream", and Justin Gray made it possible to complete a demo recording at the Nucleus in Toronto with singer Robyn Newman. It has received glowing evaluations from industry professionals. Her song won a Nashville contest this year. She will work with Kim Copeland, producer in Nashville to record a professional demo. Joanna is now co-writing with Melanie Donnelly and Catherine Kinsman (Dream for Real). Their first song, Stand Together, recently won an Honor Award in the Great American Song contest and is available on I-Tunes under Dream for Real. Stand Together has been called an "inspirational anthem" and was performed at the Obama Rally in Ottawa and will be performed at City Hall in Toronto as part of SOSTheAmericas. Their You Tube video "Stand Together for service" was televised on CTV, and was voted video of the week on in Honour of Martin Luther King Day. While she performs her own songs, she and her co-writers are interested in pitching their music to more established artists and for placement in film and television.
