"Press Review Number 1"

"When it comes to singer / songwriters, few manage to do it with the intensity of Milwaukee's JoAnn Riedl. Her ability to switch from acoustic to electric in an intimate solo setting, along with her raucous, almost punk, approach, has set her apart from her peers with reckless abandon. Don't miss this must-see performance when Riedl turns a coffee-shop performance into an arena-like event." - Brian Barney/David Lurhssen, Milwaukee WI Shepherd Express, December 2004

"Press Review Number 2"

"She wages love and war on her guitar and explores issues that are as heavy as steel-toed boots, including the environment, sexism and revolution.." - Molly Snyder Elder, www.onmilwaukee.com Novemer 2004

"Press Review Number 3"

"If you're feeling a little fed up with the man lately, the politically charged anthems of JoAnn Riedl may be just what you need to stoke the fires of your own personal anarchy. Known for an on-stage intensity that rivals that of any all out punk rock show, Riedl takes acoustic to a new level. Take a serious "turn to the left" and check out her next performance." - Brian Barney/David Lurhssen, Milwaukee WI Shepherd Express, October 2003

"Press Review Number 4"

"This is catchy slow to midpaced rock. The vocals on this recording are what stands out and they even sound as though they were recorded above the rest of the music. JoAnn does have a killer voice that reminds me of the Tilt vocalilst with an added dash of hoarse angst. The lyrics are political and personal. The music is pretty simple at most times but there is also some penny whistle which adds depth and a melancholic tone. The packaging and artwork on the cd are super nice and compliment the music a lot" - Europian, Slug and Lettuce, Richmond VA, Summer 2005

"Press Review Number 5"

"To tell you the truth, I had no idea what to expect when it came to your accoustic set... I was awesomely pleasantly surprised. I, well, the whole shop really, appreciates a real guitarist." - Kate, owner of Paradigm Coffeehouse, Sheboygan, WI. 2007
