O primeiro é o disco Caminhar, do compositor, instrumentista e produtor musical português João Pires, que vive em Belo Horizonte. Seu disco é uma exposição de paisagens que possuem identidades sonoras diversas, ficando a cargo do violão virtuoso de João guiar a interação entre esses elementos. Seja nas canções ou nas composições instrumentais, Caminhar é um trabalho de sensibilidade aguda, ancorado nos ritmos dos países onde foi gravado, que são Brasil, Portugal e Cabo Verde, com participação de músicos dos três países. 2013, album COLADERA with the musician Vitor Santana and the percussionist Marcos Suzano, recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte,

Joo Ricardo Ribeiro Pires is a music composer and producer and a gifted guitar player. He born in Lisbon and he works as a musician mainly in Portugal, Cabo Verde and Brazil, countries where he has done most of his live acts, although he
has already performed in other Europe countries, Middle East and South-East Asia.No less important to understand his music is his cultural crossover. Joo as a Portuguese has Fado and Portuguese traditional music inside, but also the years he spend in Andaluzia (Spain), studying the Flamenco guitar with greater masters like Manolo Sanlucar, Jos Antnio Rodriguez e Manolo Franco and his journeys in Brazil where he contact with the musical richness of this country and established musical partnerships with a lot of musicians from Minas Gerais and So Paulo, and in Cabo Verde, Africa, where he hold a guitar for the first time when he was young and than lived between 2008 and 2009, working with important musicians of Cabo verde musical scene, gave him a lot of other musical and cultural influences that we can now find in his music.2013 brings the release of his two first authorial albums. The album COLADERAS with his friend and musician Vitor Santana and the percussionist Marcos Suzano, recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, and his first solo Album CAMINHAR, recorded between Lisbon, Brazil and Cabo Verde.

In 2010, join as a musician in PAULINO VIEIRA tour in CaboVerde, and played also with BA E VOGINHA.
Played live in CONEXO VIVO FESTIVAL in Salvador da Bahia, in FIT FESTIVAL in Belo Horizonte, So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro in 2011.
Recorded a live DVD with Zal Sishoko ( SENEGAL) ao vivo no Palcio das Artes, in Belo Horizonte and joined his Brazilian tour.
In 2012 played with XAFU project and BERIMBAU ELTRICO in Singapore and Dubai.
His live show form the album Caminhar is part of the official program form the Year of Portugal in Brazil, with a Brazilian tour in So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Salvador da Bahia.
