SINGER/SONGWRITER Jode Bonney has travelled the world performing in front of sell out crowds but will always have time to belt out a song or two in her home of Gladstone.
After the successful release of her first album Dreams of Angels earlier this year Jode will return to the region to perform in Rockhampton and Gladstone later this month.
Jode has written with artists such as Ian Moss (Cold Chisel), toured with Evermore, Sarah McLeod, James Reyne, Ian Moss, Doc Neeson, Dragon, The Mentals and billed with Indie Line-ups like Dead Day Sun and August Way, Rogarthat and The Eighth Colour.
Jode is one of Gladstone's true success stories.
She released her album in March through Exploit/MGM and has also toured through the UK and Europe including a successful run of invigorating shows in London featuring a sold out multi billed concert at the Barfly.
Jode and her band are now focused on getting her music better known in her home land.
Jode will perform at the Leichhardt Hotel in Rockhampton on Friday November 23 and the Young Australian Hotel in Gladstone on Saturday November 24.

A fresh sound for 2007, Jode Bonney has emerged as one of Australia's finest newly found songwriters. Her 1st album- 'Dream of Angels' has just been released nationally making it's way to radio across the country. Jode has fulfilled her potential as a new sound on the Australian music scene since signing to Ex'ploit Records with her new brand of rock making a huge impact.
Jode is bringing 3 of Brisbane's hottest musicians in her line-up for an east coast tour of Oz along with Ben Hooper (of Paisley) to open the show.
