Bio
Jodi Swan, now 23 years old, fronts this dynamic four piece band featuring the best of country classics and original country music. She began her career in at age 18 when she left Southern California for Nashville, where she fronted for different country bands that played throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Alabama. After two years on the road, she returned home, where she met Tony “The Jarfly” Griffin when Jodi was looking for an acoustic Country and Bluegrass musician to accompany her on a recording project. That project fell through when the engineer skipped town and closed up shop. Then Jodi and Tony immediately formed a musical partnership that resulted in a 12-song self titled CD, featuring nine of Jodi’s original songs, and three songs from Tony. The album was released in July of 2012.
Jodi puts heart and soul into each performance, and her strong and clear soprano is a thing of beauty. She immediately engages the crowd, and her love of people makes her very approachable and responsive to her listeners.
Jodi and Tony perform both as a duo (“Jodi & The Jarfly”) and and also lead The Cowboys, who will plain knock your socks off (that is, if you wear socks).
