Lyrics

Quand Va T'il Arriver (When Will He Come)

Written By: Jodie Levinson & Lisa Ratner

Sunday morning meet me at the station
I took him up on his invitation
Jumped into his Honda without a thought
Never thinkin' I'd come up short

VERSE 2

But somethin' wasn't right
I felt it from the start
But this attraction was tuggin at my heart
Who knows why I fell, bought every line he tried to sell.

CHORUS

It's guys like you that make me say Quand Va' til arriver
It's guys like you that make me say Quand va'til arriver
When will he come, when will he come,
When will he come, when will he come?

VERSE 3

Listen to music all night long,
And watched you as you played my song,
Soft brown eyes made me believe, you'd open up those doors for me
It was clear you wanted more, and I admit I wasn't sure
You kept callin' me the tease, and all I ever wanted was to please

CHORUS
It's guys like you that make me say Quand Va' til arriver
It's guys like you that make me say Quand va'til arriver
When will he come, when will he come,
When will he come, when will he come

BRIDGE

Hey girl, hey girl - I can't believe it
Hey girl, hey girl, I should a seen it
The things you said, I took as fact,
Yeah, what you stole, I won't get back
Had me fooled, then you ran away
Still waiting for someone, someone to say

CHORUS

It's guys like you that make me say Quand Va' til arriver
It's guys like you that make me say Quand va'til arriver
When will he come, when will he come, When will he come?

BREAKDOWN

Quand Va' til arriver
Quand Va' til arriver, Quand Va' til arriver, Quand Va' til arriver, Quand Va' til arriver!

CHORUS
It's guys like you that make me say- Quand Va' til arriver
I've got to find him one of these days
Quand va til arriver
I'm gonna find him, got to find him, oooh one of these days
When will he come, when will he come, when will he come, when will he come!

Lazy Sunday

Written By: Jodie Levinson & Lisa Ratner

INTRO
oohhh ooh ooh ahh

VERSE I

Sunlight, shining through my window
Blue skies, think I see a rainbow
No rush don’t have to be anywhere
Got Time, Plenty of Time to spare.
I don’t care. I don’t care.
I don’t care.

VERSE 2

We don’t have to move,
Lay right here, sleep till noon.
Put on my favorite shows,
You can watch me paint my toes.
Got no make-up on my face
Just chillin at my place.
Ohh Yeah yeah yeah, I don’t care.

CHORUS

Its a Lazy, lazy, lazy day….
Lazy, lazy, lazy---sunday.
Got nothing else to do
But to be right here with you
On this lazy, lazy --- Sun day

VERSE 3

Getting' tired of watching the tube,
Lets take a walk in my neighborhood,
Hit the café or the corner store,
Get my coffee, or something more…
Cause I know a place
Where they make banana pancakes
Oooooooh, oooooh
And we can read the Sunday news

CHORUS

Its a Lazy, lazy, lazy day….
Lazy, lazy, lazy---sunday.
Got nothing else to do
But to be right here with you
On this lazy, lazy --- Sun day
BRIDGE

Lets go home and lay out on the carpet

CHORUS
Its a Lazy, lazy, lazy day….

Grass Ain't Green

Written By: Jodie Levinson & Lisa Ratner

Verse 1

Hey, you’re really pretty,
and your thighs are skinny
your husband’s cute, what more do you want?

Leather boots that zip to your knees
and go with all the right accessories.
A penthouse, with a city view….
White washed walls with photographs of all of you

Pre:

Caught up in all these things,
In all this stuff….still not happy,
Its never enough
ohhh

Chorus:
I thought the,
grass was green on the other side
No, No, No, No
Its not everything that it’s cracked up to be.
I guess now I’m seeing you differently.
so if the grass ain’t green on the other side
then what’s the point of having all of this stuff
cause you’re not happy- and it's never enough.

Verse 2

Giving your kids the world and more,
No doing laundry that’s what the maid's for…
From where I stand your world seems perfect
I Guess I’ll never know what to expect
Wasting time on superficial looks
Living life like your in a storybook.
Its not hard to see the emptiness inside,
Some things you just can’t hide.

Pre:
Caught up in all these things,
In all this stuff….still not happy,
It's never enough
ohhh

Chorus:
I thought the,
grass was green on the other side
No, No, No, No
Its not everything that it’s cracked up to be.
I guess now I’m seeing you differently.
so if the grass ain’t green on the other side
then what’s the point of having all of this stuff
cause you’re not happy- it's never enough.

Interlude:

guitar solo

Ch:
I thought the,
grass was green on the other side
No, No, No, No
Its not everything that it’s cracked up to be.
I guess now I’m seeing you differently.
So if the grass aint green on the other side.
What’s the point of having all of this shit
if your not happy with any it of it.
Whats the point tell me
Whats the point.
ohhhh..... ohhhh oh
