JOE SISTINO

Joe is a multi instrumentalist from the streets of New York. In an era when every city block had a rock and roll band following in the Beatles footsteps, Joe played lead guitar and bass in numerous bands throughout the New York metro area. After moving to Charleston, South Carolina, songwriting became an important endeavor and to date he has written more than 50 original songs, many related to important social issues of the day. He tenor voice is well suited to this style of music. He uses either a Martin or Ovation 6 string or Alvarez 12 string for performing along with Yamaha piano with Roland PK-5 foot pedals to drive the Roland XP-60 keyboard synthesizer. In addition to keyboards, he also plays banjo and harmonica.
