Joe Battle

If you ask where Joe Battle is from his response is the United States. He was born in Cincinnati but as a “Military Brat” he moved every three years across the U.S. Growing up in many different neighborhoods he gained many different influences in music. In 2005, his father exposed him to the art of songwriting. From there Joe wrote to remember information for school test and comedy songs. As 2008 approached, Joe realized music helped him relieve some of the stress, so he started performing. Since then Joe has release three mixtapes and one EP Titled “The Building of a Kingdom Vol. 1 The Foundation”. The single “Another Lost soul” reached 850,000+ views on Vevo. Another track, “Lord Please” was requested to be written for the book “7Dayz on 7Mile” written by James McKenny and Keith Robinson. This lead to performances in Detroit, Michigan.

                  Currently, Joe resides in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife Mercedes and daughter Isabella. Recent show credits include opening for MAYDAY from Strange Music and future performances opening for local artists Chainstore Collective. Joe also is hosting a Hip-Hop/R&B show case at Royal Castle Lounge in Colorado Springs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month (starting Nov. 6th).
