Bio
Singer /songwriter Joe Bishop has lived in the Yukon for 20 years. His songs bring stories of the land and history of the Yukon, and of life and love that permeate human experience everywhere.
In the early 2000's joe was part of a duo with Kendall Sullivan on Caribou records with their "back to you" CD. Strong harmonies and solid songwriting supported with Juno award winning producer Bob Hamilton are the corner stones of this album.
As a songwriter, influences of John Prine's humor, Gordon Lightfoot's Canadiana and Bob Dylan's phrasing can be heard throughout his music.
