Joe deBro, a Swedish singer/songwriter/artist have been playing successfully at some of Stockholm’s most established performing clubs and venues during the autumn and spring 2008-2009. In the early summer he released his first EP “Her Confusion” by own label. This summer he have played in several cities (including Gothenburg and Malmö) with RIX FM Festival – Scandinavia’s largest free-entry music festival, produced by MTG Radio. Joe deBro also played at the city of Stockholm’s youth festival, Ung08-festival and the Älta-festival in August.
Johannes “Joe deBro” Westling stared to work with his concept Joe deBro when he was studding music at Tech Music Schools in London. His aim was to contribute with a people oriented feelgood-pop to the music scene in London and work his way threw out Europe.
Before London, Johannes studied at several music schools in Sweden and also at the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. After Tech Schools Johannes returned home to develop his concept and record some of his songs in the studio. Back home he met up with the guitarist Olof Ringmar who became a significant part in the musical development process. Olof also became a permanent band member and co-writer to the Joe deBro music.
