The first thing that comes to mind when you visit Baltimore, Maryland a.k.a Harm City is the hit HBO TV network series the “Wire” and the “Corner”. Baltimoreans prefer to say “Charm City” but if you’re from the hood then “Harm City” is the tag to describe the town that birthed many greats and buried as many good people as well. Additionally, the high murder rates, crimes, and drug-dealing gets more media attention than the awesome Carmello Anthony, Jada Pinkett, Sam Cassell, R&B sensation Mario and Academy Award winning actress/comedian Monique to name a few. Additionally, hip hop and rap music in Baltimore doesn’t come to mind on a serious level and national scene to many in the industry. Somebody needs to call a time-out because the game is about to change and the artist carrying the torch is an emcee bringing the pain like Lebron and Mello ya’ dig. Ladies and Gentlemen…I would like to introduce Joe Deluxe, the rap game brightest star on the rise and the industry’s newest problem on the mic.

Hailing from Baltimore, Joe Deluxe is a fiery emcee who combines clever wordplay with reality to entertain, excite, and stimulate the mind, body, and soul of the new generation of b-boys and b-girls or should I say g-boys and g-girls. The inception of his debut EP album respectfully entitled “Harm City Music” paints a positive picture of the city he grew up and introduces to the world the music that has been ignored for many years. Joe Deluxe embodies what young America is fighting for and it’s their mind over matter. Joe Deluxe believes the stage is his platform to move the world. The goal is to take his audience (fans) to another level...he says "music is a vehicle that can take the mind to higher ground. When I write, I put it down (the pen) to foster inspiration, positive vibes, emotions, and excitement." The EP album includes the hit singles “Smash” and “Shut It Down” featuring R&B sensation Ebone (another native from Baltimore, Maryland). Visit www.breakthrubeats.com to listen to his new music featured on the forthcoming EP album (“Rumors” and “Frostbite”). Also, check out his exclusive videos and music. Be sure to purchase your favorite single at all fine online retail stores (iTunes, Napster, Amazon, and Rhapsody to name a few). The EP album is scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2010.

Joe Deluxe carved his path in the streets with the mixtape series—“Break the Streets” volume one and “Break the Streets from the Hood to the Boondocks” volume 2.5. These mixtapes served as the platform to launch his music career and let the world know he is a serious contender as an upcoming artist.
Break the streets from the Hood to the Boondocks mixtape volume 2.5 edition is hosted by DJ Radio of Streetsweepers DJ Team and Streetsweepers Radio on XM Shade 45. The promotional mixtape CD is a classic and blends the Boondocks animation with the life of Joe Deluxe played out through hardcore rhymes. The mixtape CD garnered worldwide critical acclaim via internet and street sales (10,000 units) as well. Visit the following link and download the mixtape 2.5 for free--goto: http://www.mediafire.com/?tn4zyjy25hj to hear what everyone is buzzing about!

Joe Deluxe released his first commercial singles “Fly High” and “Bang it Out” during the summer of 2008 and received national and international spins. Also, the single “Fly High” can be purchased at all fine online retail stores as well. DJ Furiousstyles, XM satellite radio Leo G. (XM Nation and formerly known as 66 RAW) and WKYS (93.9 FM) DJ Joe were responsible for launching the sound of Joe Deluxe to the world. A major shout-out to these trailblazers! Joe Deluxe is gearing up to reach the next level of radio success. Additionally, he received spins and gained followers in Japan, UK, Germany, and Switzerland respectively. Also, he was featured on several internet mixshows and mixtapes as well. Additionally, he was featured on Comcast Cable Network promoting his music and debut album. His brand is becoming a household name and thousands are anticipating more to come from this star on the rise. Joe Deluxe isn’t just your average rapper, he’s a businessman. The founder and CEO of BTE (BreakThru Entertainment) Music Group, Ma’ani “nine” Martin has partnered with Joe Deluxe (COO of BTE) to establish creative control and build an empire in the music industry as well. The future looks very bright for this dope emcee. Nine says “Deluxe is a great asset to the company and he brings a Jay-Z type energy to the business. He will get better and stronger as an artist and what he brings to the table is invaluable.”

All songs from his highly anticipated EP album “Harm City Music” was recorded at ARS studios in Baltimore, MD. The album introduces to the world super producers D. Banks, Harry “Rican” Bennett, and Imahj. The production is crazy HOTT! The world will remember their names and sou
