Joe Dirty Not Your Average Joe (self-released)
Joe Dirty is nothing if not tight with current sounds. He sings, he rhymes and his beats are highly derivative. But those rhymes...Joe Dirty is smooth as hell, and he manages to deliver messages without preaching. The intelligence of this album kinda snuck up on me; I found myself constantly saying, "Damn, that's good."

"Smother.net"

Joe Killa aka Joe Dirty aka Tyrone Sherlock is a gritty hip-hop MC from Fayetteville, North Carolina. He never pulls punches and the production isn’t your standard underground hip-hop and features some really great tunes. The flows are really good and show off his enormous talents of not just rhyming but spitting too. Hell you knew there was a reason that he opened up for LL Cool J recently.

ALBUM REVIEW
JOE DIRTY - NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE
EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS ENTERTAINMENT

If there's was a way we could shout from a mountain or tall skyscraper for the world to hear, we would definitely spread the word about this joint. Joe Killa A.K.A. Joe Dirty has what it takes to put his hometown of Fayetteville, NC on the map in a big way. The album starts off bangin' and never lets up until the final note. "Music is the tool which allows me to escape from my reality, because I am dying to be free," says Joe. Our pick hits include: "Cakilac Whodi," "Thug's Night Out," "Take You Home," and "All Out." Joe has opened for LL Cool J, Pastor Troy, Ashanti and many others. This may be the project that catapults his career to headliner status. - EJams's Reviewer

Biography-

NAME: Tyrone Sherlock - AKA- Joe Dirty
AGE: 27
BIRTH PLACE: Fayetteville, NC

Tyrone Sherlock started rapping in 1985 at local block parties throughout Fayetteville. His gift for words and poetry began in elementary school; since then Tyrone has been in search of the perfect flow. At the age of twelve Tyrone and his brother competed in big shows throughout Bermuda, ripping up the scene with their first big taste of Hip-Hop outside of the states as they competed against talent throughout the island.

What sets Joe Dirty apart from other MC’s is his versatility an the way he perform during a show, giving his all to the fans. He creates flows which you can groove to, making it easy for him to collaborate with R & B singers an still keep it gangsta if needed. Joe’s primary motivation is to rip the stage every time out while making the audience yearn for more. In 1998, he performed with his partner Shorty 4’11” as “Bonnie & Clyde” opening up for artist such as Craig Mack, Grave Diggers, Nate Dogg, Pastor Troy, Ashanti, and a host of other major entertainers through the Rap and Hip-Hop ranks.

Joe has not always lived the life of a performer; he spent some time in prison; during his time in there, Joe perfected his craft battling some of the best MC’s around while in lock down. Now with a second chance at life, and a plan, Joe looks forward to taking advantage of his time, writing, and critiquing his rhymes. Joe Dirty presently is affiliated with the independent label E.D.C. Entertainment. Joe has recently finished his first CD as a solo artist, which has hit hard in his hometown of Fayetteville, NC. In June 2003, Joe Dirty performed for the first time as a solo artist opening up for L.L. Cool J in front of a packed house.
