Joe Harrington

Actor and stand up comic Joe Harrington is one of New York City's most promising comics working on the scene today. Having performed in clubs and colleges all over the US as well as in Brazil, China and The Greek Islands. He has been seen on Law and Order and MTV and is also a regular headliner at Dillon's Comedy Club in New York. This year he is taking some of his friends from Dillon's out on the road with him to give your college the same kind of show they’d get from a Saturday night out in New York.

Joe Harrington grew up in New Jersey the second oldest of five kids. His first career ambition as a performer was to be a magician. After making a tic-tac disappear into his little sister's ear, and causing his Mother to make it re-appear with a vacuum cleaner and then a trip to the emergency room, Joe was forced to hang up his hat and gloves and retire from the world of magic at a very young age. Not to be discouraged young Joe continued his pursuit in the performing arts studying acting, singing, piano, guitar and even dance all through out high school.He later went on to graduate from Emerson College with a BA in Theatre Education and TV Video Production. But it wasn't until moving to New York that Joe discovered his true calling in stand-up comedy. Now you can catch Joe on a regular basis performing in clubs all over New York City.
