Joe Hesh and Caleb

Joe Hesh and Caleb

BandChristianAdult Contemporary

Power or soft, from parlor cello and piano to power pop ensemble surrounding the three part harmonies of Cindy Weir, Lori Clemmer and Joe Hesh. Kind of like Abba meeting other cultural flavors. Mostly original, but some covers like Coldplay, Rascal Flatts and Kelly Clakrson.

Biography

If you are a regular at Borders Bookstores you may have heard us, since we have performed in 14 different Borders stores in the last four years. Having made 250 appearances in eight states. Caleb takes story based and gospel based texts on a whirlwind ride of experimentation. Their cover of "Trouble" by Coldplay, for example, has a distinctive Reggae feel. When on tour in Russia, a musician commented to Joe that his difference was that in a world of love songs, he felt that Joe "wrote love songs to God." Whether bluesy (Jonesin') or contemporary rock (Blinded), jazz (Joyful) or country (Come Thou Here, Landslide, Bless the Broken Road), you experience a wide musical range during our performances.
