When in Hollywood, you will hear many stories of young talent moving out to find fortune and fame...the story of Joel Clemons is precisely one of those fabled stories. On his first visit to Hollywood, he met a Producer (and music lover) Lawrence duBuisson standing out on Sunset Boulevard. A partnership was struck and the two have been making records and booking shows ever since. Joel Clemons has performed all over the world on Cruise Ships / Jazz Festivals / and Television for the past 10 years. Although Joel Clemons performs cover songs from time to time, all of his recorded albums are comprised of Original Music. His style is firmly rooted in jazz (piano playing has often been compared to Horace Silver) although the band often breaks off into Soul, Funk and Latin grooves. Similar to performers like Jamie Cullum, Joel Clemons puts on quite a lively show and often has the crowd up on its feet. Equally experienced as a singer, Joel's vocals put on a new spin on old jazz standards and pop favorites alike. This band is always dressed sharp, when you see the black and gold...you know the shows about to start!!
