Joel Edmondson

Joel Edmondson is a performer, producer, community musician and educator who has spent the last 8 years in Australia and the UK developing a uniquely thoughtful, intimate approach to songwriting. His professional work facilitating the creative development of young adults and designing musical interventions for children with disabilities has profoundly influenced his approach to writing songs for the mass market. Joel's lyrical style and unabashed melodicism hark back to the 1970s, to a time when songwriters believed in the power of music to positively influence the social and spiritual development of broader society. His debut album 'Invisible Steps' will be released by Brisbane independent label LoFly in November of this year.
